Revolvers, bullets seized in city raids

Police seized four firearms including a revolver and over 100 rounds of bullets in two separate raids in Sutrapur and Demra last night.Detective Branch (DB) of Police raided a house at Girish Chandra Lane in Sutrapur and seized two .32 bore revolvers, one one-shooter, a self-loading rifle magazine. They also seized about 100 bullets from the house. The DB men arrested four people from the house on charge of possessing the firearms. Police said a huge number of firearms and ammunition were recovered from the same house during the Operation Clean Heart. In another drive at Konapara, Demra police recovered a 7.62 bore revolver and six bullets.
