Eid shopper raped at Pallabi market

Three miscreants raped a housewife in front of her husband at Nannu market in Pallabi Saturday night.Police said the couple went to the market for Eid shopping. The rapists -- Sayeed, Tupi Babu and Jamil forced them to an alley near the market. They held the husband hostage and raped the wife. The gang then asked the husband to bring Tk 50,000 in ransom. The husband telephoned his mother for the money who then called Pallabi police. Police went to the spot, rescued the couple and arrested one of the rapists, Sayed. A case was filed with Pallabi Police Station.
