November 03, 2003       Letters to Editor Protesting Mahathir's comments Abu Md Fazle Arif, Dhaka I protest against Mr. Mahatir's comments regarding Jews in the OIC and APEC conference. I can comprehend why he and rest of the Muslim Ummah condemn Israel's Palestine policy. But I have absolutely no clue why the Islamic leaders try to make a conflict with a specific religion. We cannot hate the innocent Jews. Jews are built up with same qualities which we, the Muslims, are made of. Both have the rights to live peacefully. And everyone must recognise it. Protest against Israeli government's policy. Do not bring anarchy between religions.
