Letters to Editor

Bravo! our Editors

Both in the vernacular and in the English, most of our editors are doing commendable jobs in trying to devise a road map embedded with goodwill, tolerance, virtues of true leadership -- exposing good, bad and the ugly. All this is done to make Bangladesh a better place to live in.

On a scale of one to 100, recent remarks, by the ruling party leadership on media being jealous of their successes, deserve a very generous 1.5 (one and a half). The half mark is of course a grace.

The prompt and befitting reaction to this effect from the editor of The Daily Star, Mr. Mahfuz Anam, deserves a special pat at the back.
