Knit exporters urges govt to save industries

The Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) yesterday asked the government to save the export oriented knitwear industries from the hands of conspirators.A press release of the BKMEA said a quarter has been misleading the workers to disrupt the production for a week. Workers of Pentex Garments absented without any notice, it said. Despite the owners' assurance of meeting their demands, the workers blocked roads stopped export activities.
