3 'robbers' lynched in M'singh

A mob lynched three alleged robbers at Char Shikaldi in the town Sunday night.

They cut the bodies into pieces and threw those into the Brahmaputra river.

The victims are Bakkar, 56, his son Ranju, 30, and brother-in-law Barek, 35.

Locals said a gang gathered by the river at 10:00pm in preparation for a robbery.

The plan leaked out and villagers surrounded the robbers and caught Bakkar, Ranju and Barek.

On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered some pieces of flesh, which were sent to the medical college hospital to ascertain if those were of humans.
