Repo auction

The reverse Repo auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held here yesterday.One bid of 1-day tenor amounting to Tk 125 crore and one bid of 7-day tenor amounting to Tk 40 crore were received and accepted. The rates of interest against the accepted bids of 1-day and 7-day tenor were 2.40 and 2.50 percent per annum respectively, said a press release of the central bank.
