The web portal authority will provide free web site development and set-up facility, personalised e-mail addresses and other facilities to the qualifying 50 NGOs.

At present, the web portal www.bangladeshngo.com is under construction, said a press release.

The web site is divided into six categories -- NGO, donor, government, consultant, help line, and research resources.

It will have a job search engine exclusively for the development sector. It will also carry interviews and analyses by renowned personalities.

The web portal will be launched at a ceremony next month.
