The VVIP lady and the Biman flight
MA Kader, 152. Hatirpool. Dhaka
The VVIP lady had to fly to Egypt perhaps on a very important mission but could not finish her many essential chores before departure. The Biman people had some uncanny power of sensing the predicament of the valued passenger and kept the plane on hold for one hour only to facilitate her boarding the plane. The unfeeling passengers were not in tune with the Biman people who extended a little concession to the wife of a member of the Board of Directors and created a fuss. The government promptly ordered an inquiry and some heads (of poor employees) are likely to roll. As in all previous cases the mystery of their 'uncanny sense' will remain unrevealed. The lady will keep on flying and the few obedient employees will pay for their follies. What a strange country it is, Selucus!
