Medium-pacer Ian Harvey took four wickets in eight deliveries without conceding a run and Damien Martyn hit a half-century to lead world champions Australia to a 37-run victory over India in their triangular one-day series final last night.

Victorian Harvey captured the last four wickets to fall and finished with four for 21 from 4.5 overs as India crumbled to 198 all out in 41.5 overs chasing 236 to win.

India opener Sachin Tendulkar was bowled by Andy Bichel for 45 and Rahul Dravid top-scored for the home team with 49.

Earlier, Australia captain Ricky Ponting won the toss and elected to bat, scoring 36 in his side's 235 for five from their 50 overs. Martyn made 61 and unbeaten knocks of 40 and 44 respectively from New South Wales pair Michael Bevan and Michael Clarke carried the total to a competitive figure in an unbeaten sixth-wicket stand of 65.
