Repo auction

The Repo auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held here yesterday. Seventeen bids of 1-Day tenor amounting to Tk 942.40 crore and seven bids of 11-Day tenor amounting to Tk 339.25 crore were received, of which 1-Day tenor amounting to Tk 942.40 crore were accepted. The rates of interest against the accepted bids ranged from 5.25-4.62 percent per annum respectively, said a Bangladesh Bank press release.
