The UP member was identified as Salehi of Kurulgachi union under Damurhuda upazila. He was sleeping at his house when at dead of night Monday night shot him to death after taking him to a near by field. The second victim was Geda, 35, son of Alam of village Akundobaria who was shot and slaughtered at about 8.30 pm on Monday night. The victim was taking rest at his house after Magrib prayer when the killers took him to a nearby garden at gun point and killed him. The third victim was Eunuuch Ali Mollah, 42, of village Dalka Lakmipur under Damurhuda upazila was shot and hacked to death on Sunday evening. He came out of his house in the evening when armed men caught and shot him to death.

Separate cases were lodgd with the respective police stations.
