Sub-inspector Mujibur Rahman, in-charge of Sharashkati police camp in Kolaroa upazila, while on patrol duty on the night of November 13 entered the house of one Ibrahim at Bamankhali village and tried to violate his wife. Ibrahim is in Malaysia.

Next morning, the housewife filed a complaint to Satkhira Police Superintendent, who ordered the Kolaroa thana OC to investigate the matter.

The SI was suspended as investigation found her allegation correct.
