Four general members were also elected. They are Rahima Khatun, Dr Nizamuddin Ahmed, Atiur Rahman and Ishtiaq Ahmed.

The eight-member council was elected at the annual general meeting held at the organisation's Mohammadpur office in the city yesterday, says a press release.
