The story has a hot-tempered lady suffering from hypertension. Her husband and daughters are always wary of her. The family abides by specific rules set down by her and tries to escape from them. They wake up very early in the morning, but tend to fall asleep here and there later on during the day.

The lady faces problems with her tenant who is a painter and does not pay the house rent. So she calls the police and eventually every one except the tenant is arrested.

In the meantime, the lady's sister remarks that the tenant has already paid the rent to her. Everyone becomes suspicious of this crazy situation and wonders why he should pay the rent to the unmarried sister.
