Gen Subid ignored in Senakunja reception

Former Principal Staff Officer (PSO) Major General (Retd) Subid Ali Bhuiyan was not invited to a reception at Senakunja hosted to mark the Armed Forces Day yesterday. Subid served as the PSO for five years and eight months from 1991 to 1996 under the past BNP government. Reacting sharply to the non-invitation, Subid in a press last night said: "It is natural that this …government will not invite a freedom fighter."
