Prime Minister Khaleda Zia is expected to attend the programme as chief guest and distribute certificates among the successful course members. Cabinet ministers, services' chiefs, defence attaches and high civil and military officials will be present.

A total of 21 members from Bangladesh Army, Navy, Air Force and Civil Service including 2 members of India and Pakistan armed forces have successfully completed the National Defence Course-2003. Besides, 19 members of the Bangladesh Armed Forces have successfully completed the Armed Forces War Course 2003.
