Where the VGF rice has gone?

Eleven ward members of Lalm-onirhat Pourasabha out of 12 in a written complaint to the Deputy Commissioner alleged that Municipal Chairman Lutfar Rahman misappropriated 18.5 tonnes of VGF (vulnerable group feeding) rice. In the complaint they said the rice was allotted before the Eid for distribution among the poor. But the municipal misappropriated those. The 11 include three women ward members. The lone ward member who did not sign the written complaint is Abul Hossain. The complaint was made on November 28. When contacted, the chairman said he distributed the rice among the ward members but they did not give those to the poor.
