Senior Div football starts Dec 17

The Senior Division Football League will start in the capital from December 17. It was decided in a meeting of the Dhaka Mahanagari Football League Committee (DMFLC) at the Bangabandhu National Stadium yesterday night.Chaired by DMFLC president Abdur Rahim, representatives from ten Premier and ten First Division clubs were present in the meeting. The matches will be held in two venues -- Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur and the newly built Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Mustafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur. Western Union, an US-based money transfer company will sponsor the league this year by paying Taka 25 lakh.
