Nat'l marathon swimming

The seventh National Marathon Swimming Competition takes place on the River Mahananda Chapai-nawabganj today at 10 am. A total of 10 swimmers including four female from six teams will take part in the competition being organised by Chapainawabganj Swimming Club under the auspices of Bangladesh Swimming Federation. The male swimmers will swim 15 km from Gobratala Ghat to the Mahananda Bridge while their female counterparts will swim 10 kms from Baliadanga Ghat to the Mahananda Bridge. The participants are BKSP, Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Ansars, Sagar Khali Swimming Club (Kushtia) and Chapainawabganj District Sports Association.
