'Monga' victims of Lalmonirhat get relief

KIN, a voluntary organisation of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet distributed relief goods among the 'monga' affected people at the Central Shaheed Minar here on Tuesday. Aktaruzzaman, treasurer of KIN and a third-year honours student of the Ethnology Department distributed 300 kilograms of rice among 60 disabled families of 'monga'-hit Kulaghat, Rajpur and Madnerchalk. He also distributed six goats to six boys of Dharla erosion affected Kalerghat area. All are aged below 12 years and left their schools due to poverty of their parents.
