39,000 youths trained

The Youth Development Department (YDD), Rangpur trained 39,054 unemployed youths on different trade courses till November 30. Of them 12,774 youths have already become self-reliant through income generating activities with assistance from the YDD, officials said. They have been trained on garments manufacture, typing, raising poultry and animals, pisciculture, primary medical aid and computer course. They were given Tk 4,32,96, 063 loans.
