CU admission test from Feb 24 next year

The admission test in first year honours classes of Chittagong University (CU) for 2003-2004 academic session will begin from February 24 next year. On the first day the test will be held at 10:30am and 2:30pm under "Ka unit" (Physical Science) and "Cha unit" (Forestry and Environmental Science). On February 25, the test will be held at the same time under "Ka unit" (Biological Science) and "Chha unit" (Marine science). The test under "Uma unit" (Law faculty) will be held on February 26, while test under "Ga unit" for students with Science and Arts background on February 28. The test for students belonging to Commerce group will be held on February 29. The test under "Gha unit" (Social science) and "Kha unit" (Arts faculty) will be held on March 1, 3 and 4. Admission forms will be available from December 20. The last date for distribution of admission forms is February 14. The price of admission form for each unit is Tk 300. Applicants will have to collect their admit cards from the respective dean offices by February 15. Students can collect their admission forms from the Agrani Bank branches at CU campus, New Market, Agrabad and Kapasgola at Chawckbazar in the city. Minimum qualification for appearing in the test under Science faculty is GPA 6 combined in the SSC and HSC examinations result. Students can apply for Business Administration faculty and Social Science faculty who obtained GPA 5.5 in the both SSC and HSC examinations. But separately the students must have to bag GPA 2.5 in SSC and HSC. The test will be held under Multiple Choice of Question system of 100 marks.
