Ten players including four GMs will take part in the round robin league basis competition, organized by Leonine Chess Club.

The organizers arranged a press conference at the NSC conference room yesterday.

"Prime Bank has extended their support to make the competition a success," said secretary of the Leonine Chess Club Manzoor Hossain.

Three thousand dollars will be to the winners as prize-money. The champion will collect 1,200 dollars while runners-up can expect 800 dollars.

The players are: Grand Master Alexi Barasav (Uzbekistan), Grand Master Alexander Fomynah (Russia), Grand Master Ziaur Rahman (Bangladesh), Grand Master Niaz Murshed (Bangladesh), Interna-tional Master Enamul Hussain Rajib (Bangladesh), International Master Reefat-bin-Sattar (Bangladesh), International Master Abdullah Al Raqib (Bangladesh), International Master DK Sharma (India), Manzoor Alam (Bangladesh) and Debashish Mukharjee (India).
