A discussion was held at Kazi Nazrul Islam auditorium in the morning.

RU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Faisul Islam Faruki attended the function as chief guest while Students' Advisor Prof. Rafiqul Islam was in the chair.

RU Pro-VC KAM Shahadat Hossain Mondol, Treasurer Abdul Jabbar khan, Registrar Abdus Salam were present as special guests.

Many former students took part in the session and requested the RU authority to take steps to revive the student union that has a glorious past.

Prizes were distributed among the winners of academic exhibition of 44 departments of the university. The exhibitions, however, will continue today.

The Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal of RU unit organised a programme of 'Lalon song' at Kazi Nazrul Islam auditorium in the evening.
