Zia shares lead

Grand Master Ziaur Rahman posted his first win in the Leonine Grand Masters Chess tournament with an easy win over his Bangladesh compatriot Amin in the second round at the National Sports Council conference room yesterday.With that win, Zia was sharing the lead along with International Master Reefat-bin-Sattar and Russian GM Alexi Barsov with each having 1.5 points. Reefat beat Indian Dinesh while Barsov beat IM Abdullah Al-Rakib. GM Niaz Murshed, GM Alexander of Russia and Dinesh are sharing second spot with a point each. The third round will start at the same venue today at 3 pm.
