New chairman of MIDAS
Professor Hafiz GA Siddiqi, vice-chancellor of North South University, has been elected chairman of Micro Industries Development Assistance and Services (MIDAS).He was elected at a meeting of the board of directors of the company held in Dhaka recently, says a press release. Siddiqi is the chairman of the Institute of Management Consultants Bangladesh and former director of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. He has all along been associated with research and development organisations as well as educational institutions.
