Ex-policeman killed in road accident

A retired police official was killed in a road accident at Customs crossing here on Kushtia-Jhenidah highway on Wednesday.The victim was identified as former ASI Abdul Zabbar, 50, of Moshan area in Mirpur upazila of the district. Witnesses said Zabbar was seriously injured when a bus knocked his motorbike. He died at Kushtia General Hospital.
