The "alternative stream"

Dr B Chowdhury is at least trying to start a campaign which, if carried out properly, would be a big improvement in our political culture. It is not important who has political experience or who hasn't, the point is of track record. We know very well our present political leaders. Most of them are illiterate criminals and thugs. Think about the caretaker government. It has no political experience, but how does it control the law and order situation and evict illegal installations? The reason is simple. They wish to do so. If Dr Chowdhury can bring clean record-holders into his platform and can make the campaign successful, I believe much of the rubbish in the political arena can be removed. It may take some time but it has to be done.
