Brothers accused of killing 2 cops granted bail

Two brothers accused of premeditated murder of two policemen and looting their arms were yesterday granted bail by the vacation bench of the High Court. The bail order came upon a petition filed with the court by accused Askar Sheikh and Aslam Sheikh after they were refused bail by the lower court. According to the case, in the evening of March 11 this year, armed gangsters attacked a patrol police team with bombs at Sheikhpara BK Roy Road, Khulna, leaving two cops dead on the spot. They also took away the arms and ammunition of the cops.
