The meeting of the parliamentary standing committee on Housing and Public Works Ministry was told yesterday.

The meeting was told that the NHA has been implementing nine more projects through which more plots would be provided to low and medium income group people.

The meeting also discussed a report presented by the ministry on its overall activities, condition of the industrial, commercial and residential plots of the NHA and abandoned properties in different districts.

Committee Chairman Shajahan Chowdhury presided over the meeting. Housing and Public Works Minister Mirza Abbas, Kazi M Anwar Hossain, Alamgir Haider Khan, Prof Joynal Abedin, Alamgir M Mahfuzullah Farid and Abdul Mottaleb were present.
