JCD leader shot at Mirpur

Four gunmen shot a Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leader at Mirpur in the capital yesterday. Tawfiqur Rahman Tuhin, 22, convenor of Ward No. 12 unit of the JCD, BNP's student wing, was a BA student at Mirpur Bangla College. Critically injured Tuhin was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). Police arrested one of the gunmen, Mahmudul Haq Rony with a revolver and eight bullets but gave conflicting information about his identity.
