Acme-Pallima badminton from today

The Acme-Pallima Badminton Tournament, organised by Pallima Sangsad, begins today at the club's premises in the city.The leading badminton players of the country are contesting in the competition, which is being sponsored by the Acme Laboratories Limited. Some 46 shuttlers are expected to take part in four events -- men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles and mixed doubles. The tournament, which concludes on January 17, offers lucrative cash awards for the winners.
