Parliamentary team leaves for Canada

A two-member parliamentary delegation led by Deputy Speaker Akhter Hamid Siddiqui left here for Canada yesterday to attend the 17th Conference of Commonwealth Speakers and Presiding Officers.The conference will be held at Montebello in Quebec of Canada from January 8 to 12. The other member of the delegation is the chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Social Welfare Ministry A. Hye, says a press release.
