Mayhem in Afghanistan

Afghanistan has been liberated from Taliban rule by Uncle Sam, but political turmoil remains rampant. An elected government is still a far cry. After a marathon hassle, the Loya Jirga of Afghanistan has come to consensus to ratify its constitution. Poverty and lawlessness are the main features of this country. The Madrid Conference is a real fiasco. World leaders did not fulfil their pledges to rebuild Afghanistan. Hamid Karzai is a puppet of Bush. Despite its nominal revenue, warlords earn and launder a lot of money through smuggling and the drug trade. A general election is vital to revive Afghanistan and UN trusteeship should be enhanced. I hope situation in Afghanistan will be normalised soon.
