Accord with China on public security coop in February

A meeting on China-Bangladesh cooperation on public security was held at Bangladesh Secretariat yesterday.The meeting, chaired by State Minister for Home Lutfozzaman Babar, discussed possible areas of cooperation, like training in various fields and exchange of experiences between the public security ministry of China and the home ministry of Bangladesh. It proposed a visit to Bangladesh by the public security minister of China in the last week of February to sign an agreement on cooperation. Chinese Ambassador Chai Xi, Home Secretary Muhammad Omar Farooq, Foreign Secretary Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury, director general (Far East) of foreign ministry attended the meeting.
