Unite against unhealthy politics

Gano Forum President and Convenor of Oikya Prochesta Dr Kamal Hossain has said there is no rule of law in the country and people want an end to such a situation.The eminent jurist called upon all sections of society to stand united against violence, corruption and unhealthy politics. Addressing a public meeting at Shaheed Khokon ground here yesterday, Kamal said, "Democratic practice is absent as black money holders are ruling the country sitting in parliament." Organised by the district unit of Oikya Prochesta, the meeting was also addressed by Zahirul Islam, Pankaj Bhattacharya, Saifuddin Ahmed Manik, Abdur Rouf and Mostafizur Rahman. Earlier, Kamal had a meeting with local lawyers.
