Natore defeated Nilphamari1-0 in the inaugural match of the Deputy Commissioner Gold Cup football tournament at the Gaibandha Stadium yesterday.Tanvir netted the all-important goal. State Minister for Cultural Affairs Begum Salima Rahman inaugurated the tournament. A total of ten teams - Nilphamari, Gaibandha, Notore, Lalmonirhat, Pabna, Sirajganj, Rangpur, Joypurhat, Rajshahi and Dinajpur are taking part in the meet.
