Tk 1 crore goods stolen from travel agency

Air tickets, passports with visa and cash reportedly, in all, worth over Tk 1 crore were stolen from a travel agency at Old Telegraph Office Road in Hazari Gali under Kotwali thana yesterday.Police said miscreants broke into the office of ST International and took away 35 passports, air tickets, including 22 of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, worth Tk 1 crore and cash Tk 35,000. Police picked up the night guard of the building Mohammad Ali, son of Tara Miah of Sujakatgar Lane in Kotwali thana, for questioning.
