CUTA unhappy at Syndicate's response to its demands
Teachers meet again on Saturday


The Executive Committee of Chittagong University Teachers Association (CUTA) at its emergency meeting on Saturday expressed dissatisfaction that the Syndicate at its March 7 meeting "ignored" most of its 22-point demand.

The emergency meeting held at its office on the campus called a general meeting on Saturday next to decide the next course of action, CUTA President Prof Dr. ANM Munir Ahmed told this correspondent after the meeting.

The teachers are very much unhappy as the seventy percent of their demands re yet to be met, he said.

Earlier, CUTA had said VC Prof AJM Nuruddin Chowdhury will have to resign if the demands are not met.
