ONE Bank to collect Ctg port charges
The Chittagong Port Authority has allowed ONE Bank Ltd to collect port charges and fees through the bank's booth located in the Terminal Building of the port, says a press release.The authority has also opened an account with ONE Bank for smooth transfer of funds from shipping companies for settlement of their dues. It has paved the way for all licenced port users to do cash transactions and deposit the port dues with any of ONE Bank's branch in Dhaka, Sylhet and Chittagong through the bank's online banking channel and clear their consignments. ONE Bank is the first private commercial bank to be allowed to collect port charges and other fees, the release added.
