14 years' RI for keeping illegal arms

A man was sentenced to suffer 14 years rigorous imprisonment (RI) for keeping illegal arms on Saturday.The convict is Selim, son of Amir Ali Gazi of Atulia village in Shyamnagar upazila, court sources said. Police arrested him from Mahhkhola bazaar in Sadar upazila on June 2, 2002 and recovered three pipe guns.
