Empowerment of women, structure of the local government, the changed rural scenario, communication system, usage of local resources, development of the poor, relationship between the top and the grassroots levels, and such other topics will be focused in this programme.

Report and a discussion session will be conducted on one specific topic in each episode of programme. Specialists, representatives from the grassroots level and policy makers will take part in the discussion session.

From this discussion, suggestions will be extracted regarding how the Union Parishads can be more effective and helpful for the local grassroots people.
