AL road march today

Main opposition Awami League (AL) will march the Old Dhaka streets today as part of its one-point oust-government movement for what they described as the ruling alliance's absolute failure to deliver.Top leaders of the AL will lead the procession starting at 3:00pm from Bahadur Shah Park to the Central Shaheed Minar through Sadarghat, Patuatuli, Islampur, Chawkbazar and Nazirabazar. A meeting of the party presidium members with Opposition Leader and Awami League chief Sheikh Hasina in the chair took the agitation programme on April 1. The city AL held an extended meeting presided over by President of AL city unit Mohammad Hanif at its Bangabandhu Avenue office yesterday evening to make today's programme a success. The AL has called hartals from 6:00am to 5:00pm on April 7 and 6:00am to 6:00pm on April 8.
