Editor of B'baria weekly dies


Poet Jamila Begum, founder editor of a local Bangla weekly Maa, died at her residence in the town on Wednesday. She was 95.

She left behind four sons, three daughters and a host of admirers.

She was a former ward commissioner of Brahmanbaria Pourashava.

She was also the author of Kabita Sankalan and Kalantorer Dhaew.
