Rape news

It's pretty astonishing how news on rape cases is published in newspapers. To make it interesting to the readers, they choose words that are vulgar and indecent.

A few days ago I read about a rape case in a newspaper. The language used in the report forced me to think how ruthless our society is. Though news on rape is a regular feature in our country, but it's never old to the readers. The way it is presented makes it spicy and entertaining. When a rape takes place, reporters give detailed information. It doesn't stop there. The condition of the victim is presented in licentious words. It might be news for us but it's really hard for the victim and her family to accept such coverage of the unfortunate incidents.

The government and the responsible section of the media should look into the matter.
