2 killed in truck plunge

Two persons were killed and 12 injured when a loaded truck on which they were travelling fell into a roadside ditch at Palashbari on the Gaibandha-Bogra highway yesterday.Akram Hossain Munshi, 44, and Ajit Kumar, 40 died on the spot. Six of the injured were taken to Rangpur Medical College Hospital in critical condition and the rest were admitted to Palashbari Health Complex. The truck driver and the helper escaped. Police said the truck (Bogra-TA-11-0175) was carrying stone from Rangpur to Bogra.
