'Unite to oust BNP-Jamaat govt'
Amu tells Mujibnager meet

Awami League (AL) presidium member Amir Hossain Amu announced that the movement for ouster of the BNP-Jamaat Government would be intensified in the coming days.

Amu told this while addressing a big public meeting at Mujibnagar (Baidyanathtola ) marking the historic Mujibnagar Day on Saturday.

He urged the people and party men to get united under the banner of Awami League as they did in 1971during the Liberation War of Bangladesh. He further told that people want to get rid of all kinds of crime including abduction, murder, extortion, corruption and price-hike of essentials.

Chaired by Meherpur district Awami League president Joynal Abedin, the meeting was addressed, among others, by former Education Minister ASHK Sadek, Barrister Amir-ul-Islam, party central organising secretary Abdul Mannan, Information and Research Secretary Noor Alam Lennin and others.
