Winning start by Dhaka, Rajshahi

Ashiqul smashed 47 as Dhaka got off to a fine start in the second phase of the Under-17 Development Cricket Tournament with a four-wicket victory over Khulna at the Jahangirnagar University ground yesterday.A four-wicket haul by Tamizu-ddin helped Dhaka to bowl out Khulna for 128 in 45.4 overs. In reply, Dhaka raced to 131-6 in 43.1 overs. At the City Club ground, Rajshahi recorded a 43-run victory against Sylhet in the other opening-day match. In reply to Rajshahi's 169 all out in 43.3 overs, Sylhet were bundled out for 126 in 44 overs.
