Transcom Service Week 2004 begins

Transcom Service Week, 2004 began yesterday with a view to earning more confidence of customers and ensuring their satisfaction. Jack J Detiger, head, Asia and Pacific Region, Philips Consumer Electronics, formally inaugurated the service week organised by Transcom Service Centre, on the Transcom Electronics office premises at Mohakhali in Dhaka. During the Service Week that will end on May 5, the customers will get 40 percent discount at the company's 56 service centres across the country. Detiger, in his speech, said increase in technological supports is needed to move ahead with a modern way of life in the rapidly changing society. Obaidur Rahman Khan, executive director of Transcom Electronics, and Abdul Baki Bhuiyan, service manager of Transcom Service Centre, also spoke at the inaugural function.
